CEMC with the trip return to the roots

In those days all the country towards to celebrate the 101th anniversary of the International Women Day 8-3, the 1971st anniversary of the Uprising of Hai Ba Trung; the 80th anniversary of the founding of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union 26-3, The grassroots Union of Communist Youth has combine with Women Union of the Company (CEMC) to held a trips "A trip return to the Roots"

As scheduled, the delegation's first stop is Truong Son Martyrs Cemetery, which is located at the Ben Tat area, Vinh Truong commune, Gio Linh district, Quang Tri Province. Union has respectfully thurify to incense in memory of 10.333 heroic martyrs who had lay down their life for Motherland.

The next destination of delegate is the Dong Loc’s T-junction, a historical vestige is inherent in the bravely laying down of 10 female volunteers with aged from 17 to 22 on July 24, 1968. Dong Loc T-junction is under Dong Loc commune, Can Loc district, Ha Tinh province, located in Ho Chi Minh national highway which go through the Truong Son mountain range in Ha Tinh, it is the intersection of national highway No.15A and road  No.2 of Ha Tinh. This is important intersections so the enemy had focused to bombers and attacked in order to cut off the line of supply from Northern to South battlefield to fight against the American army.

When arrive the Truong Son Cemetery and the Memorial Area of Volunteer Martyrs at Dong Loc T-junction, each member of delegation as more deeply felt for the severity during the wartime. The fighting spirit of the elders’ generation seems to add more moral strength to each member of Youth Union and Female Union of the Company. Staffs of CEMC have promised by themselves that they would bring into play the traditions of elders’ generation for building up and defending the Motherland.
